We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Services Assistant to join our team at Howett Thorpe, a dynamic and fast-growing financial services company based in Oxford. As an Employment Services Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment process, coordinating candidate communications, and ensuring an efficient hiring process for all teams.

About The Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of organisational skill, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to help attract and onboard the best talent for this growing business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, reviewing applications, and arranging interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the recruitment system.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and liaise with candidates and hiring managers.

You will also support the creation and updating of recruitment materials and job descriptions, communicate with candidates to keep them informed throughout the hiring process, and assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including arranging documentation and preparing necessary paperwork. Additionally, you will conduct reference checks and assist with any pre-employment screening as required.

Salary & Benefits
