Job Summary:

We are seeking an Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our patient transport team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and transportation services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to patients and their families
  • Assist with lifting, securing, and helping patients in and out of the ambulance
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Committed to patient care and well-being
  • Effective communicator with experience in emotional and sensitive situations
  • Calm, considerate, and careful driver with a valid UK driving license
  • Physically fit for patient handling and moving
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS check
