Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with their personal care and hygiene needs, promoting dignity and respect at all times.
  • Conduct regular welfare checks throughout the night to ensure residents are safe and well.
  • Support residents with their dietary needs, ensuring they receive nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Encourage residents to engage in activities that promote mobility and independence.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other care professionals to promote the health and well-being of our residents.
  • Welcoming family members and assisting with their queries and concerns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. While prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable, we provide comprehensive training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge required to excel in this role.

You will be patient, understanding, and respectful of our residents' individual abilities, with a willingness to learn and adapt to their needs. Additionally, an understanding of dementia and its effects would be beneficial in this role.
