We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our new residential project to success, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day site operations, including coordination and supervision of on-site personnel and sub-contractors.
- Manage and resolve day-to-day site issues during the project duration.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager on material and plant requisitioning.
- Liaise with the Senior Quantity Surveyor on cost issues and compile the Variation Log and monitor variations.
- Manage sub-contractors, engineering, and operational staff on site.
- Support the Project Manager in delivering the project to a superior quality, on time, within budget, and implemented within the required safety, environmental, and quality parameters.
- Schedule weekly work programs and review weekly progress reports for the Master Construction Program.
- Facilitate the flow of information between the Design Team and Construction Team.
- Support communication between the Design Team and Sub-Contractors.
- Attend and chair weekly Management Team Meetings.
- Maintain site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Manage and implement the Safety Management System.
- Implement daily and weekly programs.
- Engineering degree/diploma or related discipline or Trade Qualifications (Carpentry) or a minimum of 5 years Site Management experience.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale high-density residential, commercial, or refurbishment projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to deal with the whole financial and programmed planning elements of the project.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness.
