Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our new residential project to the highest quality, on time, within budget, and implemented within the required safety, quality, and environmental parameters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, including the coordination and supervision of on-site personnel and sub-contractors.
  2. Manage the resolution of any day-to-day issues arising on site during the duration of the project.
  3. Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager on material and plant requisitioning.
  4. Liaise with the Senior Quantity Surveyor on cost issues and compile the Variation Log and monitor variations.
  5. Manage Sub-contractors, engineering and operational staff and personnel on site.
  6. Support the Project Manager in delivering the project to a superior quality completed on time, within budget, and implemented within the required safety, environmental, and quality parameters.
  7. Schedule weekly Work programmes and review weekly progress reports for the Master Construction Programme.
  8. Facilitate the flow of information between the Design Team and Construction Team.
  9. Support Communication between the Design Team and Sub-Contractors.
  10. Attend and chair weekly Management Team Meetings.
  11. Maintain site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
  12. Manage and implement the Safety Management System.
  13. Implement daily and weekly Programmes.
Requirements
  1. Engineering degree/diploma or related discipline or Trade Qualifications (Carpentry) or a minimum 5 years Site Management experience.
  2. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale high-density residential, commercial, or refurbishment projects.
  3. Strong commercial awareness and ability to deal with the whole financial and programmed planning elements of the project.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
  5. Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness.
