Claims Specialist

Job Summary:
Davies Group is seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims, including personal injury from inception to settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage a caseload of motor claims to ensure timely and efficient resolution.
- Maintain accurate data on relevant case management systems to ensure seamless communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Comply with set client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality service standards.
- Allocate new claims and develop strategies to achieve successful outcomes.
- Carry out supervisory tasks as required, including training and mentoring junior team members.
- Assist with client project work and attend review meetings to ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients through effective communication and negotiation skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in claims handling, preferably in a commercial motor claims environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
- Supervisory experience is desirable, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
