Behaviour Improvement Officer

Located in the heart of a London borough, we are seeking a Behaviour Improvement Officer to support and supervise students within our Isolation Unit. This vital role is designed to help students reflect on their behaviour, develop self-discipline, and make positive choices to succeed in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Supervision: Provide a calm and structured environment for students within the Isolation Unit.
  • Behavioural Guidance: Offer guidance to help students understand the consequences of their actions and encourage positive behaviour change.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and parents to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Behaviour Management: Implement behaviour management strategies, offering tailored support to individual students as needed.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor student progress and contribute to personalised behaviour improvement plans.
  • Role Modelling: Act as a role model, promoting respect, resilience, and responsibility among students.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
