The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join an Engineering Consultancy on a permanent basis.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate looking to advance their career or for someone with a geotechnical/construction background seeking to develop skills in Contract Management.

As a Contracts Manager, you will work from the company's Wickford office 2-3 days a week and travel across the UK to visit customers. Remote options may be considered for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend tender handover meetings and deliver pre-start briefings to team members
  • Produce and update progress reports, cost reports, and forecasts while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Ensure all site operations are conducted safely and in accordance with the company's Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies
  • Support the Estimating Department with contractual issues during the tendering/pre-construction phase
Requirements:
  • A full UK clean driving license
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in construction, ground investigation, ground engineering, or a geotechnical setting
  • CSCS Card desirable but not essential
