Mathematics Specialist

**Role Overview**

GSL Education is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mathematics Specialist to join their team of dedicated teachers and support staff. As a Mathematics Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching staff and enhancing the educational experience for students.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Assist in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in mathematics
• Support teachers in assessing and monitoring student progress in mathematics
• Provide individual or small group support to students who need additional help in mathematics
• Encourage and inspire students to achieve their full potential in mathematics
• Participate in and lead extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement in mathematics
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the school community

**Requirements**

• A degree in any discipline, preferably with a focus on education or a related field
• A passion for working with children and a desire to pursue a career in education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
