About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Porter to join our team at Lounge. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, supporting our chefs in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including food preparation and presentation.
  • Contribute to the team's efforts in delivering high-quality food to our customers, on-time and to specification.
  • Participate in maintaining a positive and productive team culture, promoting a safe and respectful work environment.

Requirements
  • A natural talent and passion for hospitality.
  • Extremely driven and relentless at overcoming challenges or obstacles.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Self-motivator working at pace with limited supervision whilst adhering to pressure and timescales.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice on all things allergens, kitchen essentials and food safety.
