About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Brunswick Court Care Home. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive high-quality food and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Assist the chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies and procedures, and follow all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
- Assist with catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, to create memorable experiences for our residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for food, previous experience working in a kitchen, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You should be comfortable communicating with others, have a keen eye for detail, and be committed to delivering exceptional service to our residents.
