Job Title: Commercial Finance Lead

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Lead to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our National Finance Office, you will play a critical role in supporting our business leaders to deliver sustainable profitable growth.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide financial insight, challenge, and support to our service line leadership and management teams. You will develop strong relationships with our business leaders, supporting their operational and strategic decision-making by providing analytical opinion and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial analysis and opinion to support business decision-making
  • Develop and manage key relationships with business leaders and management teams
  • Translate financial information into analytical opinion, identifying trends and exceptions
  • Contribute to driving operational performance by promoting commercial thinking and understanding key business drivers
  • Track progress towards budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Assume a lead role in the annual budgeting process
  • Lead the Commercial Finance team, driving improvement and enhancing planning tools
  • Be a role model and mentor to junior staff
Personal and Professional Qualities:
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accountancy experience
  • Consultancy/business strategy/professional services experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluation methodology
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Proactive, self-starter, and diplomatic
