Senior Leadership Role in Women's Healthcare

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Inpatient Gynaecology Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital. The unit encompasses the inpatient Gynaecology Ward, the Gynaecology Daycase Unit, the Gynaecology Assessment Unit, and the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be innovative, and passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients during emotional and distressing events in their lives. You will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, and have fresh ideas to contribute to an evolving gynaecology service.

  • Address patient and carer complaints, working with the Directorate to respond within agreed timelines, ensuring appropriate action is taken to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain and monitor systems for staff compliance and mandatory training.
  • Oversee the unit budget, monitoring expenditure, and resource management.
  • Manage discipline and address staff problems in a supportive manner, adhering to Human Resource policies and procedures.
