Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

Securitas Technology Ireland is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of high-end security systems to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate contractual commissioning statistics and instruction guidelines in accordance with project needs.
  • Review technical specifications of systems to be delivered and manage the commissioning process through clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Review designs, lead and supervise onsite commissioning activities, and guide testing processes to achieve standard results.
  • Assist with identification and redressal of commissioning and malfunction issues, and prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes, and checklists.
  • Outline procedures, norms, and details for writing Systems Manuals, and review progress of installations, escalating any issues to the Project Lead.
  • Regular on-site visits and spot checks on quality of installations, and provide 1stLine support for technical issues, capturing and communicating any variations to the design or scope of works to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure all works are completed and handover documents are issued to the Project Manager, and QA/QC all subcontractor installation works to ensure they meet minimum standards.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in high-end security integration, with experience with CCTV, Intruder, access control, and enterprise systems such as Lenel On Guard and C-cure 9000.
  • Excellent understanding of Security System design and configuration, with sound knowledge of IP technology and networks, and awareness of H&S regulations.
  • PC literate in MS Office Suite (inc. Word, Excel, Outlook), with experience in Data Centre environments and knowledge of national standards.
