Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

Securitas Technology Ireland is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of high-end security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate contractual commissioning statistics and instruction guidelines to meet project needs.
  • Manage commissioning of systems through clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Review designs, lead, and supervise onsite commissioning activities.
  • Guide testing processes and motivate engineers to achieve standard results.
  • Assist with identification and redressal of commissioning and malfunction issues.
  • Prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes, and checklists.
  • Outline procedures, norms, and details for writing Systems Manuals.
  • Review progress of installations and escalate any issues to Project lead.
  • Regular on-site visits and spot checks on quality of installations.
  • First-line support for technical issues.
  • Capture and communicate/escalate any variations to the design or scope of works to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure all works are completed and handover documents issued to the Project Manager.
  • QA/QC all subcontractor installation works to ensure it meets minimum standards.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in high-end security integration.
  • Experience with CCTV, Intruder, access control, and enterprise systems such as Lenel On Guard, C-cure 9000 ACT.
  • Professional experience in Security System design & configuration.
  • Sound knowledge of IP technology and networks.
  • Awareness of H&S regulations.
  • PC literate in MS Office Suite (inc. Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in Data Centre environment.
