Clinical Lead - Care Home

Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk

Salary: £50,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at our care home in Lowestoft, Suffolk. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and governance in our home.

You will work closely with our nurses and carers to ensure our residents receive the best care, meet their needs through excellent nursing and clinical care, and actively contribute to all clinical delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the nursing team to maintain high standards of clinical care and governance.
  2. Work closely with the management team to ensure effective clinical delivery.
  3. Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  4. Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Provide training and support to nursing staff.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Strong clinical skills and experience in a care home setting.
  2. Prior management experience or experience of leading a small team.
  3. Ability to make clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure.
  4. A passion for promoting best nursing practice.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. A good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC and compliance.
