About the Job:

We are seeking a Permanent Newly Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Redbridge, working full time. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge while making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

Salary: £40,443 per annum, reflecting the local market rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workload with jointly agreed performance indicators, ensuring effective practice and reflection.
  • Develop awareness of professional limitations and establish a network for advice and expertise.
  • Negotiate and establish boundaries for partnership work with service users, carers, and their networks.
  • Obtain regular supervision from a social worker for career development.
  • Have particular regard to all safeguarding issues, raising them through professional and managerial channels.
  • Demonstrate the impact of psychological, socio-economic, environmental, and physiological factors on people's lives.
  • Demonstrate a critical understanding of social welfare policy, its evolution, implementation, and impact.
  • Keep up-to-date with evidence-informed practice about working with children and young people and families.
  • Participate in relevant learning and development activities, particularly safeguarding training.

Requirements:

  • A Professional Social Work qualification or equivalent is essential.
