Care Experienced Children Support Worker

We are looking for an experienced Care Experienced Children Support Worker to join our team in London Borough of Redbridge. As a Child Protection Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children who have experienced care and ensuring they receive the necessary care and protection.
Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Pathway Plans to meet individual children's needs and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Attend Adoption Panels to participate in discussions about the placement of children and make informed decisions about their care.
- Manage Standard Case Workloads efficiently, including preparing reports and attending court hearings.
- Conduct LAC Reviews to assess the progress of children in care and recommend improvements to their care arrangements.
- Deliver Section 20 Care Orders and provide necessary support to children in care, working closely with families and other professionals.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of post-qualifying experience working as a Social Worker within the UK social care industry. A degree in Social Work or a related field is also required, along with registration with the HCPC and an enhanced DBS/CRB certificate.
