Engineering Programme Manager

ATA Search is seeking an experienced Engineering Programme Manager to join one of the UK's leading convenience food manufacturers. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead capital projects across three UK sites, with a total budget of up to £40M.

The Role

As an Engineering Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects, working closely with key stakeholders, and overseeing projects covering machinery upgrades to full site renovations. You will also take ownership of capital expenditure requests and ensure compliance with regulations, legislation, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of multi-site projects, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including reliability, suppliers, health & safety, engineering, operations, hygiene, and technical teams.
  • Ensure business alignment between Project Management and the Senior Leadership Team for each location.
  • Oversee projects covering machinery upgrades to full site renovations, ensuring compliance with regulations, legislation, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Experience operating as a Programme Manager with full capital expenditure responsibility and exposure to managing a small team.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of multi-site projects, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, compliancy-driven environment.
  • Project management or engineering qualification would be advantageous.
