Nurse Practitioner

The Registered Nurse will provide diabetes education and support to patients, working as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance quality of life and promote healthy habits. This is a casual opportunity with variable hours and shifts, including days and nights between Monday and Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult education principles and change facilitation skills, as well as excellent working knowledge of diabetes care and management.

Cranbrook is a scenic city located in the southeastern corner of British Columbia, offering a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities and a strong sense of community. The Registered Nurse will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a focus on promoting health and well-being in the Interior Health region.
Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing diabetes education and support, including:
Providing diabetes education and support to patients
Participating as a member of the interdisciplinary team
Enhancing quality of life for patients and families
Demonstrating continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing
Maintaining and advancing own clinical competence
