We are seeking a skilled Shop Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Greggs. As a Shop Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shop equipment and facilities.
About the Role
- This is a full-time position, with a focus on providing excellent maintenance services to our shops.
- You will be responsible for carrying out preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shops.
- Ensuring all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working as effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Carrying out regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs, and modifications.
- Minimizing machine downtime while repairs are carried out for a group of approximately 80 shops.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A 17th Edition Electrician Qualification (ideally)
- Significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvements.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and carry out a varied workload in all trades, on both equipment and property.
- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Knowledge of Food Safety & SHE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility in working hours (as may be required to work different shifts each week or asked to work overtime).
- IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
