Job Summary

The role of Avionics Maintenance Support Engineer is a critical position within the Typhoon Maintenance Unit (TMU) at RAF Coningsby. The successful candidate will provide technical support to shop floor maintenance engineers, focusing on the evaluation of maintenance faults, general maintenance support, and the development and improvement of the IMS JIC library.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support shop floor maintenance engineers in evaluating maintenance faults and providing general maintenance support.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the IMS JIC library.
  • Participate in ad-hoc project support as directed by the Senior MSE.
Requirements
  • Typhoon Avionics depth maintenance experience is essential.
  • Experience with IMS Maintenix and Trilogiview is required.
  • Evaluation of Typhoon maintenance emergent work faults is highly desirable.
  • Typhoon Avionics Q course and knowledge of ESS, Resolve, and WDMS toolsets are desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
