Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our accounts payable team, you will be responsible for processing high-volume supplier invoices, ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders and goods received notes.
Key Responsibilities- Process and verify supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Match invoices with purchase orders and goods received notes
- Resolve any discrepancies or price queries with the supply chain team and warehouse teams
- Organize invoices for authorization and liaise with staff to ensure timely approval
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier account details
- Perform monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Respond to supplier queries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Experience working in an accounts payable team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
