We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Technician / Delivery Driver to join our team at Medstrom. As a Service Technician / Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective, timely, and efficient delivery of products to customer sites, first-line fault service visits, and repairs against specific service level agreements.
Main Responsibilities- Product Delivery and Collection: Deliver clean, ready-to-use products to and around customer sites, collect products after use, and return to the service location for decontamination.
- Product Maintenance and Repair: Disinfect, function check, repair, and electrical-safety test products.
- Record Keeping: Complete records of testing, delivery, and collection.
- Inventory Management: Maintain available product stock and spare parts inventory.
- Product Demonstrations: Provide product demonstrations and basic training to staff.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
- Qualifications and Experience: Mechanical or electrical background desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. Experience of delivery driving and planning routes would be desirable.
- Personal Requirements: Proactive, can-do attitude, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to work under own initiative, and follow procedures to achieve deadlines.
- Driving License: Full UK Driving license required.
- Competitive Salary: £23,000, with an estimated potential earning of approx. £26,000+ with on-call payments.
- On-Call Payments: Additional on-call payments.
