About the Role

We are seeking experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) teachers to join our team. With opportunities available for long-term placements, short-term contracts, or flexible day-to-day supply work, we cater to your professional preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement personalised education plans to cater to the unique needs of each student.
  2. Employ various teaching strategies and interventions tailored to students with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech and Language Difficulties, Dyslexia, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
  3. Work closely with teaching assistants, other educators, and external specialists to provide holistic support to students.
  4. Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in SEND education through continuous professional development.
Essential Criteria:
  1. A proven track record of success in various SEND settings.
  2. A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS) and a specialisation or significant experience in SEND.
  3. The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs and to innovate in lesson planning and delivery.
  4. Experience working in a range of school environments, from mainstream to specialist settings.
  5. An attractive pay rate of approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
