An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Anglian Home Improvements, a leading commercial building contractor specializing in supplying replacement UPVC Windows, doors, and wall insulation (EWI) into social housing and public sector clients. The Resident Liaison Officer or Tenant Liaison Officer role, reporting to the Contracts Manager, plays a crucial part in ensuring customer issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and provide clear and accurate communication to residents regarding the nature of the works carried out, including time scales and any necessary adjustments.
  2. Identify and make reasonable adjustments for vulnerable residents, handling such matters with sensitivity and confidentiality.
  3. Deal with challenging or difficult situations effectively, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Act as the central point of contact and maintain good relationships with residents and the company.
  5. Brief tenants on safety and security issues, ensuring they are aware of potential risks and how to mitigate them.
  6. Organize resident open days/evenings, including attending and ensuring they are kept up to date with the progress of the works.
  7. Ensure handover procedures are completed, guaranteeing a smooth transition for residents.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience of working with housing associations, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges.
  2. Intermediate level proficiency in Word and Excel, with the ability to analyze data and create reports.
  3. Ideal experience working in a RLO role or public sector customer service role, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  4. An analytical and systematic approach, with a strong understanding of quality systems and processes.
  5. Self-starter with keen attention to detail and well-organized, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and a team player, with a full driving license.
  7. Flexibility required, as occasional work outside of normal working hours and at weekends may be necessary.
