At Austin Fraser, we are currently working with a global manufacturing business based in the North-East. They are seeking an experienced Quality Management Systems Engineer to join their team.

The Role

The purpose of this position is to further develop Quality Management Systems certified to IATF16949:2016. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and further developing the existing Quality Management System to ensure it satisfies the needs of the business.

  • Maintain and further develop the existing Quality Management System to ensure it satisfies the needs of the business.
  • Internal audit schedule planning - system/process/product audits across multiple production sites.
  • Mentor and deliver Quality Management System training as required.
About You

We are looking for someone with extensive experience of Quality Management Systems, specifically IATF 16949:2016 / ISO9001:2015 / VDA6.3:2023 or other certified management systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in system implementation, development, and maintenance, as well as internal systems audit.

The salary for this role is approximately £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
