About the Role

Trust Care Solutions, a leading staffing agency in the UK, is currently seeking Support Workers to join their team in Colchester. This role involves providing essential care and support to individuals with complex needs, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate care and support to vulnerable individuals, prioritizing their safety and wellbeing.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and social interaction.
  • Apply Advanced CPI techniques to manage challenging behaviours, ensuring a safe environment for all.
  • Support individuals in maintaining independence and dignity, promoting person-centred care practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, following tailored care plans to meet each individual's needs.

Essential Requirements:

  • Advanced CPI Training certification is mandatory, as it is a crucial skill for this role.
  • Previous experience working as a Support Worker in a healthcare or care setting is required.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding principles and person-centred care practices is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, managing challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care are necessary.
