Role Overview

This challenging yet rewarding role requires a highly skilled and compassionate individual to support students with complex Special Educational Needs in a specialist provision based in Surrey. As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with experienced professionals to deliver tailored educational journeys, focusing on academic achievement, emotional growth, and confidence building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver personalized lessons, incorporating a range of strategies to engage students with complex needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a supportive learning environment, promoting social interaction, self-awareness, and self-regulation.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure effective support and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Education or related field (or relevant experience).
  • Proven track record of successfully supporting students with complex Special Educational Needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals.
