Real-Time Hardware-in-the-Loop Systems Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a Real-Time Hardware-in-the-Loop Systems Specialist to join our team working on advanced testing simulations. The ideal candidate will design and implement complex, real-time HWIL simulations that mirror real conditions, providing critical performance analysis and collaborating with sub-system designers to enhance system capabilities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and contribute to the development of cutting-edge testing simulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing real-time simulations that replicate firing conditions
  • Conducting experiments to analyze missile performance
  • Collaborating with sub-system designers to identify and implement improvements
  • Performing ongoing system performance analysis
  • Debugging interfaces and ensuring seamless system integration
  • Testing sensors and other sub-systems
Requirements:
  • Experience in radar technology and interface systems
  • Understanding of system performance analysis techniques
  • Proficiency in debugging and integrating complex systems
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Experience in testing sensors or sub-systems
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers (e.g., Raspberry Pi)
Salary:

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
