Child and Adolescent Crisis Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Crisis Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing non-judgmental support to survivors of sexual violence aged 17 and under.
The successful applicant will have evidence of relevant professional experience working with children and young people in a supporting role, as well as knowledge of issues experienced by CYP and particularly in relation to sexual violence and safeguarding.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with Nottingham University Hospitals Trust, based at EMCYPSAS, Queens Medical Centre, and Notts SVS Services City Centre Head Office. The successful applicant will be subject to NPPVL2 Nottinghamshire Police Vetting and completion of the NUHT local induction and Crisis Support Worker induction programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis support to children and young people who have experienced sexual violence
- Support clients during forensic medical examinations
- Cover the EMCYPSAS helpline and Email contacts
