About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company in the timber frame manufacturing industry and take on a key leadership role. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of our timber frame business, ensuring that all orders are manufactured and dispatched in a timely fashion, and driving ongoing improvement through process optimization and innovation.

You will work closely with our design team to ensure that manufacturing is optimized, and engage and motivate our production teams to achieve exceptional results. Your strong business and commercial acumen will enable you to develop and implement strategic business plans, drive business growth, and build trusted relationships with key customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and coordinate the activities of our timber frame business to achieve production metrics, including throughput, changeover times, and minimising downtime.
  2. Ensure that all orders are manufactured and dispatched in a timely fashion, and that all operational, administration, H&S, and business controls are adhered to.
  3. Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  4. Work closely with our design team to ensure that manufacturing is optimized, and engage and motivate our production teams to achieve exceptional results.
  5. Build trusted relationships with key customers and drive business growth through effective sales and commercial acumen.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in timber frame manufacturing or a related construction sector. You will have a proven ability to manage a business at a senior level, with a strong focus on commercial operations and customer satisfaction.

You will have excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a changing environment. You will be passionate about meeting both customer and company expectations, and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
