About the Role:
Sapientia Education Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Student Support Mentor to join our team. As a Senior Student Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our senior students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to senior students to help them achieve their academic potential.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to identify and address the needs of senior students.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and attendance among senior students.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment for senior students.
- Monitor and report on the progress of senior students, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
Requirements:
- English/Literacy and Maths/Numeracy qualifications at Level 2 or equivalent.
- NVQ3 or equivalent in teaching assistance or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working with children of the relevant age in a school, college, care, health service, social care or youth environment.
