Senior Maintenance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Manager to join our team at Proactive Global, a leading UK global manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level and work with a solid structure and team in place.

About the Role

This role comes with career progression to progress further to roles such as Engineering Manager or Maintenance Director, with a salary up to £65,000 plus bonus up to 10% and a pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • To carry out the requirements of the planned preventive maintenance programme.
  • To continue to deliver on the current strong maintenance performance and make any improvements if you see any.
  • To ensure that production downtime, plant reliability, and OEE improvement are delivered on all lines.
  • To maintain planned maintenance system on all equipment with appropriate budgetary control.
  • To make modifications to maintenance plans if necessary.
  • To be involved in projects and project management.
  • To allocate maintenance work to engineering specialists.
  • To identify training needs of direct reports and prepare plans to meet these needs.
  • To ensure correct spare parts stocking, necessary to ensure the operation of lines delivery equipment whilst keeping stock to a minimum.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with experience of working in FMCG / high speed manufacturing and managing teams within an engineering environment. The company will consider Team Managers. The ideal candidate will have Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualifications or an Apprenticeship.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
