About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician/Engineer to join our team at Alkegen. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production objectives and improve overall efficiency.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and record equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Source and obtain required parts and supplies to support maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Formal apprenticeship or equivalent in a relevant field (electrical or mechanical).
  • C&G 17th Edition qualification (for electrical maintenance role).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
