SEN Education Assistant

A leading SEN school is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and empathetic SEN Education Assistant to join their dedicated team of professionals.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex needs, including Autism and ADHD. They will be able to work effectively with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans that meet the unique needs of each pupil.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to pupils with complex needs
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure seamless support for pupils
  • Supporting pupils with daily living tasks and personal care
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of educational principles and practices
Salary Estimate:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
