Role Overview

We are recruiting a dedicated Learning and Development Coach to support learners with complex needs at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd.

In this challenging yet fulfilling role, you will work closely with learners, their families, and other professionals to create tailored learning plans and provide ongoing support.

Your primary focus will be on helping learners overcome barriers to education and achieve their full potential, whether it's through ESOL, English, Maths, or other subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver personalized learning plans that cater to each learner's unique requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with learners, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources, enhancing overall support for learners.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in education law, policies, and procedures affecting learners with diverse needs.

Requirements:

  • Possess a recognized teaching qualification and relevant experience in special educational needs (SEN) or a related field.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning environments.
  • Familiarity with UK education laws, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

Salary Information: Based on the complexity of this role and the required expertise, the estimated hourly salary ranges from £18-25, equivalent to an annual salary of approximately £35,600-47,000.
