About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Assistant to join our team in Haringey. As a Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and development, ensuring they feel confident, motivated, and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects
- Providing one-on-one and group support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals
- Encouraging positive behavior and maintaining a supportive classroom environment
- Organising and preparing learning materials to meet students' individual needs
- Collaborating with staff to ensure all students have the best opportunities for success
Requirements:
- A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a love of learning
- The ability to support students with diverse needs, promoting inclusion and well-being
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic school environment
