**About the Role**
The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Scientific Associate/Senior Scientific Associate. As part of our School of Clinical Medicine, our research focuses on advancing our understanding of cancer biology, translating research into clinical applications, and developing innovative treatments.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the group leader in managing the laboratory and providing technical guidance to PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and other lab members.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects, including molecular cloning, protein purification, and biochemistry.
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance our understanding of cancer biology and develop new treatments.
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and resources.
**Requirements**
- BSc, MSc, or PhD degree in a relevant field, such as molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in laboratory management, research, and technical skills, including molecular cloning, protein purification, and biochemistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
