Domiciliary Care Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team of staff in the Halifax and surrounding local areas. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care to our clients, promoting independence and enabling them to remain in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance with personal care, meal preparation, shopping, light domestic duties, mobility, medication, and other care needs
- Building strong relationships with clients and their families
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals
- Maintaining confidentiality and respecting clients' dignity and privacy
Requirements:
- More than 6 months' experience working in care in the UK
- Full UK driving licence or willingness to vehicle share or walk to clients' homes
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £11.44 to £12.00
- Generous mileage allowance of 30p per mile
- Full or part-time hours to suit
