Benefits Officer

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Waltham Forest to assist with the appointment of a Benefits Assessment Officer on a 4.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £18.50 - £23.25 per Hour
Requirements:
- Experienced Benefits Officers who can accurately process all types of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and discretionary schemes including Discretionary Housing Payments.
- Experience of processing Local welfare assistance, household support fund, and free school meals are desirable but not essential.
- Candidates must be proficient in using the Capita processing system and have experience of using a document management system, ideally Civica's workflow 360 system (Comino).

- You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
- You should have the right to work in the U.K.
