About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Aramark. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for cooking and preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a range of meals to a high standard
  • Work well as part of a team of chefs, supporting one another and communicating effectively
  • Follow recipe cards to prepare, cook, and serve meals
  • Complete daily paperwork to cover due diligence
  • Assist with deliveries and stock checks
  • Place food orders and maintain kitchen records
  • Monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries
  • Assist in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items served
  • Manage production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage
  • Undertake relevant training as required

Requirements

  • Food Hygiene level 2 or higher
  • Relevant culinary qualification
  • Previous experience of working in a catering and/or Mess operational role (preferable but on-the-job training will be supplied)
  • A confident chef
  • DBS Required

  • Full-time 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 with variable shift patterns ranging between 6am – 9pm
