We are looking for a talented and dedicated individual to fill the position of Senior Midwifery Governance Manager.

This role involves ensuring the effective governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of maternity services across our Trusts.

  • Provide senior midwifery input and advice to support decision making regarding quality, patient safety, governance and assurance for maternity across the two sites.
  • Support the establishment and embedding of the maternity assurance processes required to provide continued monitoring of quality and patient safety metrics across the group.
Main Responsibilities
  • As part of the Group Corporate Nursing and Midwifery Team support the timely production of maternity assurance papers for the gesh Quality Group and Quality Committees in Common.
  • Align specified quality and patient safety policies and procedures across the Group and take through the relevant governance framework for ratification.
  • Work collaboratively with the two Local Maternity and Neonatal Systems (Surrey Heartlands and Southwest London), to update, advise and advance quality and safety across gesh Maternity Services.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Practicing Midwife
  • Master's degree or working towards or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of CPD relevant to post

The salary for this position is £82,462 - £93,773 per annum.
