About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As part of our 2025 Graduate Programme, you will contribute to the design and delivery of complex engineering projects, particularly in pump hydraulics, valve selection, and piping systems.

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the whole project lifecycle, from front-end engineering design through to detailed design, installation, and construction support. Our project portfolio spans across the UK, with a strong focus on serving Yorkshire Water frameworks.

About You

We value your potential over past experience. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline and a keen interest in the water industry. You should be a Striver, consistently delivering on tasks and objectives, and a Collaborator, able to work effectively with different people at different levels.

You will also need to be a Planner, able to organize and manage your own activities, and an Adapter, able to remain calm in new situations. Additionally, you should be a Multi-Tasker, able to think about multiple tasks at once, and a Problem-Solver, able to give your thoughts based on what you see.
