Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Sales and other departments to ensure production plans reflect customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier capacity planners to ensure material and resource availability.
  • Monitor production performance and adjust schedules as necessary to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Allocate customer orders into vehicle slots in the production schedule.
  • Analyse demand patterns and production constraints.
  • Track aged work-in-progress against required production targets.
  • Plan factory areas such as tubs, trim, and paint.
  • Ensure correct vehicles are produced to support sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain production planning tools.
  • Manage production control data to maintain smooth flow and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience in vehicle or production planning, ideally in the automotive industry.
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and work accurately under pressure.
  • Understanding of S/OP process.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Tableau.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or STEM subject.
