Toposophy, a leading placemaking and marketing agency, seeks a talented Senior Project Associate to join its team. This role involves working on exciting destination strategy projects, collaborating with our global network of experts and clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tourism and destination strategy projects for clients, incorporating research, analysis, and recommendations to enhance visitor experiences and drive tourism growth.
- Collaborate with our creative team to craft compelling marketing materials and campaigns that promote destinations and attract visitors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the tourism industry, including destination marketing organizations, local businesses, and government entities.
- Oversee project execution, encompassing budget management and coordination of internal and external resources.
- Provide regular updates and reports to clients on project progress and results.
Requirements
- Destination Management Expertise: Proficiency in managing and promoting destinations, emphasizing sustainable and eco-friendly practices.
- DMO Partnership: Proven ability to establish and maintain successful partnerships with DMOs, focusing on strategy creation and implementation.
- Strategy Leadership: Demonstrated experience in overseeing and executing tourism and destination strategy projects from conception to completion.
- Network Building: Ability to establish, nurture, and leverage relationships with diverse stakeholders in the tourism sector, from local businesses to governmental bodies.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated capability in guiding, mentoring, and motivating teams towards achieving project objectives.
- Cultural Adaptability: Experience in managing or participating in projects across multiple countries, showcasing adaptability to various cultures and market dynamics.
- Travel Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for travel, underpinned by a desire to contribute positively to destinations and their growth.
Education and Qualifications
- Masters or PhD degree in marketing, tourism, planning, and development or a related field.
- Membership(s) of international organizations related to the fields described above.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
This role comes with a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus benefits such as personal laptop, private health insurance, and performance bonus (subject to negotiation).
