Machine Tool Engineer Position

AWE Plc is seeking a skilled Machine Tool Engineer to join our team in the Reading area. This exciting role offers the chance to develop diverse skills and contribute to the security of our country.
As a Multi-Disciplined Engineer, you will be responsible for performing various Machine Tool lifecycle activities, including installation, breakdown support, servicing, and error mapping to optimise plant and equipment availability.
This role provides the opportunity to work on challenging bespoke projects across a range of facilities, supporting your personal and professional career development.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000, depending on your suitability and level of experience.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Engineering Apprenticeship with a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent working experience
- C&G/ONC/HNC or above desirable
- Knowledge of maintenance practices, technologies, and techniques in your current trade
- Conversant in fault-finding techniques and methodologies
- Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act
- Understanding and implementation of work control documents
- Working experience of operational plant maintenance service delivery desirable
- Necessary security clearance for the role
