Purchase Ledger Clerk Needed for Part-Time Role

Temporary Contract for Approximately 8 Months

Hourly Rate £13.00 - £14.35 Per Hour DOE

Môrwell Talent Solution is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a flexible role within school hours (Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process 200-350 purchase ledger invoices per month
  • Match, check, and code invoices
  • Create and review outstanding purchase orders
  • Process staff expenses, check receipts, VAT claimed, and approvals
  • Manage company credit cards, ensure receipts and VAT approvals
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Download month-end bank statements and complete a cash template
  • Set up new supplier accounts, maintain existing details, and verify bank details
  • Manage the shared accounts email inbox
  • Liaise with suppliers by phone and email regarding payments and other matters
