About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic copywriter for a six-month pilot of a new Content Squad at Greenpark. This is a dedicated content role with the primary objective of maximising brand awareness for an exciting brand in Saudi Arabia. This role will be based in the UK, South Africa, UAE or Saudi Arabia and managed out of the UK.
Responsibilities
- Write SEO-lead editorial copy for in multiple formats, as required, to include articles, landing pages, product listings, image captions, meta titles and descriptions among others.
- Write persuasive commercial copy to lead users on their buying journey, including personalisation copy.
- Work closely with the SEO team on delivering highly optimised content.
- Create and maintain editorial content calendars that align to strategic priorities.
- Work within editorial and channel best practices to deliver exceptional quality for our clients.
- Participate in ideation sessions for content creation, where required.
- Be aware of trends in the subject matter and which are good opportunities for the brand.
Requirements
- 2-3 years writing optimised SEO copy for web.
- Experience writing about tourism and hospitality.
- Experience in writing commercial copy including but not limited to product descriptions, calls to action, CRM copy, copy for each stage of the buying journey, and push notifications.
- Keen understanding of SEO and copywriting best practices.
- Experience in writing non-search based editorial content.
- Ability to adapt to brand tone of voice and turn their hand to different subject matter day-to-day.
