Children and Young People Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic leader to join our team at Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency. As a Children and Young People Services Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting and promoting voluntary and community action in Middlesbrough.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of staff and volunteers to ensure that visitors to HMP Frankland receive a warm welcome and the information and support they need.
- Coordinate facilities for visitors within the centre and in the visits hall, including facilities for children and young people and refreshment services.
- Work closely with other Nepacs and prison staff to ensure that families who require additional help receive the assistance they need.
- Manage and motivate a team to meet deadlines and timescales.
- Previous experience of leading a team and managing staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and lead by example.
- Enhanced DBS and prison service vetting.
